Dallas New Homes

Dallas is a popular metropolitan city that continues to grow in population and abounds in real estate opportunities. According to the 2000 census, Dallas had a total population of 1,188,580. In 2003, Dallas’ estimated population was 1,208,318. This increase of almost 20,000 residents within three years, directly related to the real estate market. As the population of Dallas continues to grow, so does the construction of real estate properties.

Dallas is a rare metropolitan city because it has several new homes for sale for low prices. Many metropolitan cities are older and have very little space to build new homes. As of February 2006, only 15 of Dallas’ 331 new homes were completely constructed and ready for move in. Another 53 homes were under construction. The remaining 263 new homes were available by purchasing a plan, meaning that construction would only begin once the property was bought.

A Dallas new home ranges in price from $94,900 for a planned ready-to-build, two-bedroom, one-bathroom, two-story home with 901 square feet of living space, to a four-bedroom, three-bathroom, two-car garage home with 2,931 square feet of living space for sale for $860,000. These prices are predicted to drastically escalate within the next five to 10 years, considering the recent population growth in Dallas. If you have a chance to buy one of the many new homes offered in Dallas now, you will make a substantial profit if you eventually decide to sell. Subsequently, homes are not only holding their value, they’re on the rise as the city continues to grow. Dallas is a strong sellers’ market.

There are many benefits to owning a Dallas new home. You have a chance to buy a home in a thriving city with great recreational and economic features. The real estate prices are low, but they will eventually rise, allowing your home to escalate in value. Dallas will always be a popular and desired place to live, but there will not always be this chance to buy a new home, or even to have one built. The city will eventually slow their construction and put a limit on the amount of new homes. Buy a Dallas new home now, when there is an abundance of choices, for low prices.
